OUR MATERIALS

BAMBOO

At LIVLY Clothing, we choose every material with intention, and bamboo quickly earned its place in our collection. Especially when it comes to bamboo baby blankets, softness isn’t optional. It’s essential.

This lightweight material is crafted from bamboo pulp fibers that are carefully refined and spun into an exceptionally smooth yarn. The result feels almost silk-like to the touch, naturally gentle against delicate newborn skin. No stiffness. No rough texture. Just a breathable, fluid softness that works beautifully for girls and boys alike.

Bamboo baby blankets are loved for their ability to adapt. The fabric helps regulate temperature, keeping little ones cool in warmer weather and comfortably cozy when it’s colder. That balance is what makes it so versatile, whether wrapped around a newborn or layered as an everyday essential.

We’re drawn to bamboo not only for how it feels, but for how it performs over time. It’s a thoughtful material choice, refined, breathable, and designed to support the comfort babies deserve from their very first days.

How to care for your Bamboo

Caring for your Bamboo/Cotton Swaddles and Dream Blankets is part of what makes them special. With gentle attention, these pieces keep their softness, comfort, and beautiful drape for years to come.

You don’t need anything complicated. A mindful wash, careful drying, and a little extra tenderness go a long way. Over time, the fabric stays smooth and breathable, ready to wrap your baby in the same comfort again and again.

Wash Regularly

Wash your Swaddles and Dream Blankets before its first use to remove any dirt or debris that may have accumulated during the manufacturing process.

Wash Regularly

Wash your Swaddles and Dream Blankets regularly to prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and other harmful substances.

Aim to wash your Swaddles and Dream Blankets every I-2 weeks, or more frequently if it becomes soiled or stained.

Machine wash

Bamboo fabrics will maintain their special qualities when washed in cold to warm water (up to 30 degrees Celsius)

Use a delicate or gentle cycle, and avoid washing your swaddle blanket with other items that may cause friction or damage.

Detergents

Use a gentle detergent that is free from harsh chemicals and fragrances to avoid irritating your baby's skin.
Avoid using fabric softener or dryer sheets, as they can reduce the absorbency of the blanket and leave residue on the surface.

Drying

Avoid drying your muslin cotton bamboo swaddle blanket in the dryer, as high heat can damage the fibers and cause shrinkage.
Instead, hang or lay flat to dry in a well-ventilated area.

Dry Clean

Do not dry clean Swaddles and
Dream Blankets.

Ironing

Do not iron Swaddles and
Dream Blankets.

How to Remove Stains

Accidents happen! Here are some tips for removing stains from your Swaddles and Dream Blankets.

1. Treat stains as soon as possible to prevent them from setting into the fibers. Use a stain remover or a mixture of water and vinegar to gently blot the stain.

2. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the stain, as this can damage the fibers and spread the stain.

3. Wash your muslin cotton bamboo Swaddle or Dream Blanket as normal after treating the stain. If the stain remains, repeat the treatment process before washing again.
